About your tutor
I'm Dasom An and I'm thrilled to welcome you to PianoLessonsAmsterdam.nlI've had the privilege of guiding over 200 students on their musical journeys across two continents over the past 14 years. I was part of the Yamaha School of Music while living in South Korea and have been a piano tutor for the past 7 years in the Netherlands.I hold a major degree in Classical piano as well as a degree in Jazz piano from Conservatorium van Amsterdam.I truly believe that each student brings their own unique strengths and potential to the learning process. My teaching style is all about adapting to your individual needs, interests, and goals, making sure each lesson is both rewarding and enjoyable.Whether you're working on a difficult piece, getting ready for exams, or simply hoping to deepen your understanding and love of music, I'm here to support and guide you throughout your journey. In our lessons, we don’t just develop technical skills—we also explore the expressive and emotional side of music.Once a year, we host a concert where each student has the opportunity to perform one or more pieces for their peers. This event is a wonderful chance to inspire motivation, welcome family and friends, and create lasting memories filled with beautiful music!I am thrilled to embark on this musical adventure together. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced student, I am here to help you achieve your musical dreams!
